Chicken Piccata Recipe Ingredients:

For the Chicken:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (for dredging)
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine (or you can use more chicken broth)
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • 1/4 cup capers, drained
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1. Prepare the Chicken:

  • If your chicken breasts are really thick, you might want to ask an adult to help you cut them in half horizontally so they cook more evenly.
  • Season the chicken with salt and pepper on both sides. Don’t be shy, but don’t use too much!
