Minecraft Blast Furnace Recipe
- 3 Smooth Stones
- 5 Iron Ingots
- 1 Furnace
Step 1: Gather Materials
Collect the necessary materials for crafting a blast furnace: smooth stones, iron ingots, and a furnace.
Step 2: Craft Smooth Stones
If you don’t have smooth stones, you can craft them by smelting regular cobblestones in a furnace. Place cobblestones in the top three slots of a furnace and fuel (e.g., coal or wood) in the bottom slot. Retrieve the smooth stones once the smelting process is complete.
Step 3: Craft a Furnace
If you don’t have a furnace, craft one using eight cobblestones. Place cobblestones in all slots of the crafting grid except for the center slot.
Step 4: Arrange the Crafting Table
Open the crafting table interface.
Step 5: Place the Items
Place the materials in the crafting grid in the following arrangement:
- S = Smooth Stone
- I = Iron Ingot
- F = Furnace
Step 6: Retrieve the Blast Furnace
Once the items are arranged correctly, a blast furnace will appear as the result. Move the blast furnace to your inventory.
Congratulations! You’ve successfully crafted a blast furnace in Minecraft. Blast furnaces are used for smelting ores, armor, and tools at a faster rate than a regular furnace, making them a valuable addition to your Minecraft world.
